machines, teams choose from a variety of widgets including pulleys, springs, bowling balls, marbles, ropes, mousetraps, gears, roller skates, squirt guns and more. Each team’s goal is to put their widgets together in a series of interconnected steps leading to a whimsical domino-style chain reaction.

Top teams will need to stick to a budget and meet the judges’ guidelines to win the grand prize. They’ll earn points based on how well their machine works, level of creativity, difficulty level, and overall “wow” factor.
